I have just purchased a beautiful Akai 650D and notice that the Source/tape switch causes static and causes the recording to cut out. Can anyone give me any advice on how to fix this? When I fiddle with it, it causes the sound to cut out and sometimes seems to want to rest not quite on the proper switch setting, but almost between the two switch settings.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
